The 2014 Mallusk Expansion Project will not only increase the size and capabilities of the Mallusk Workshop, but will also generate at least 11 new jobs in local areas, including 9 Apprenticeship placements.

David Moore, GES Group Managing Director, said, “This is a very exciting time for GES Group. Grants Electrical Services has a long-established reputation in Ballymena, Northern Ireland and beyond for quality products, technical expertise and unparalleled service standards.

This expansion project will further enhance our company capabilities and will also see the creation of at least 10 new jobs, including 8 new Engineering Apprentice positions. Mr Grant added, “GES Group were traditionally an AC/DC motor rewind and remanufacture specialist, but we have developed our portfolio to provide an extensive range of technically advanced products and services like industrial electrical contracting and maintenance, design and manufacture of switchboard distribution systems, HV installation and testing and dynamic balancing and vibration analysis, all with a break-down service for clients that is fully operational 24 hours a day, 365 days per year.”

Mr Moore continues, “We pride ourselves on building strong partnerships with clients and offering the best in energy solutions to a wide variety of industries; from dairy facilities, to tyre manufacturers, animal feed plants to power stations – using a unique, holistic and full-circle approach, so that we can provide for all of our customer and client needs in-house. The development of our Mallusk facility will strengthen our position and allow for even further development of our capabilities, as we look forward to growing our business in 2014.”

GES Group will host a Grand Opening event at their Mallusk premises for customers and suppliers upon completion.
