Industrial equipment or storage units containing hydrocarbons must be equipped with a bund or retention tank. Tanks installed outdoors must be drained of water regularly, and can release oil in the rainwater. The Petro Pipe PI-616 is a cartridge specially designed to be placed in all kinds of tanks, allowing rainwater to drain while retaining all hydrocarbon traces, preventing ground contamination.
