Description

GES Group Apprentices complete a four year training programme, plus one Junior Engineer year, with the aim of becoming a competent and qualified GES Group Engineer.

This role is full time (38 hours p/w) with potential for overtime, and 29 days holiday per year, inclusive of 8 statutory holidays.

Essential Criteria

Applicants must hold a minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C, or equivalent, including Maths, English, and at least one Science-related subject. AS/A Level passes in Maths, Science, or Technology are desirable, as are individuals who have some work experience within an Engineering discipline.

The ability to work at heights and/or in confined spaces is a pre-requisite, and applicants must not be colour blind. Due to the nature of the work, applicants must be flexible to work outside of “normal working hours” if required, and have the ability to travel to work at client locations.

Desired Criteria

We are interested in applications for first year Apprentices, but equally we are interested in applications from 2nd/3rd year Apprentices also who would like to transfer to our programme.

We are looking for ambitious, hard-working, and motivated individuals, who are enthusiastic to work within the fast-paced Engineering sector, and who are keen and able to progress to a higher level within their field.
