This is an exciting opportunity to take part in a bespoke training programme working with new technologies to become a competent and qualified Servo Motor Repair Engineer. GES Group officially opened Ireland's first Servo Motor Repair Centre in 2017, and now we are looking to expand our team.
This role is full time (38 hours p/w) with potential for overtime, and 29 days holiday per year, inclusive of 8 statutory holidays.

This is an exciting opportunity to apply for a role with significant development potential. We do not want to specify the exact qualifications required for this role, so we want to hear from individuals who are currently completing, or who have already completed: an NVQ Level 3 Engineering-related Apprenticeship, a HNC Level 4 Engineering-related Apprenticeship/qualification, a Higher Level Apprenticeship Engineering-related Foundation Degree, or an Undergraduate Engineering-related Degree.
Applicants must not be colour blind. Due to the nature of the work, applicants must be flexible to work outside of “normal working hours” if required, and have the ability to travel to work at client locations.
We are particularly interested in applications from individuals who have work experience in the following: an Engineering field in an industrial/manufacturing environment; working with electric motors, servo motors, and rotational machinery; an understanding of electronics, mechatronics, robotics, or similar; experienced with digital and analogue signals and feedback systems.
We are looking for ambitious, hard-working, and motivated individuals, who are enthusiastic to work within the fast-paced Engineering sector, and who are keen and able to progress to a higher level within their field.
The successful candidate must be able to work within a team, and possess good communication and literacy skills. The trainee should aim to broaden their knowledge and understanding, and work efficiently and accurately, with a high level of dependability, being able to meet deadlines, complete paperwork, and follow detailed instructions. It is beneficial for the trainee to have sound IT skills.
