GES Group Apprentice, Michael Curtis, wins Apprentice of the Year at the 10th annual Ballymena Borough Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards!
Held at the Tullyglass Hotel, Ballymena, on Thursday 11th of October, Michael Curtis, a 4th Year Apprentice with Grants Electrical Services (NI) Ltd. walked away from the event a winner. Michael holds an NVQ L3 and a BTEC Level 3 qualification, and he is currently completing his HNC in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Since embarking on his Apprenticeship with GES, Michael has consistently met and surpassed our requirements and expectations. GES Group’s role in Industry includes the refurbishment of complex machine components for a wide range of applications, and our demanding Engineering programmes require multi-skilled people with both electrical and mechanical disciplines. Our apprentice rotation policy has ensured that Michael has been given a sound grounding in a variety of skills such as panel building, servicing, maintenance, and motor rewinds.
