GES Group (Grants Electrical Services Ltd.), are proud to announce that we have been officially recognised as an Investors in People organisation!
Investors in People (IIP) is acknowledged as the most successful framework for business improvement through investing in a company’s most significant asset
– its people. The IIP framework has been extended to include achievement of the core Standard but also includes the recently added Bronze, Silver,
and Gold levels.
GES Group has been successful in achieving Bronze level at our first accreditation. Tom Grant, GES Group CEO, said:
“We are thrilled to have been successful in gaining IIP accreditation, GES Group place emphasis on providing on-going learning, up-skilling, and professional development for our team, which also ensures that our customers receive excellent service and technical expertise. It is this commitment that has gained GES Group its excellent reputation and will ensure our sustained growth and success.”
David Moore, GES Group Managing Director, added:
"Investors in People is a tremendous achievement and one that demonstrates a clear commitment to the development and success of GES Group employees, and our desire to transform organisational performance by continually improving, learning and growing.”
Presenting the awards at Hillsborough Castle, Paul Devoy, Head of Investors in People UK, said:
“It is an honour to be able to present awards to organisations that are achieving fantastic results by really investing in their workforce. Businesses that achieve the Investors in People Standard have proven their commitment to realising the potential of their people, adopting sound people management practices we know contribute to organisational success, and then evidencing this through a rigorous assessment process. IIP is now firmly established as a global mark of good practice in both people and business development.”
Group HSQE Manager and Investors in People Co-Ordinator, Rachel Doherty, commented:
“Receiving this award is a true testament to the hard work, determination, and dedication of the whole team, who work together to provide a first class service. The IIP process is a rigorous evaluation and the company would like to thank all of our employees for pulling together to ensure our success. Grants Electrical Services was established in 1972 and has a long history of putting employees first, which is probably one of the reasons we have such a high retention rate, in fact some of our team have been with us since 1972, and in today’s workplace that is practically unheard of. GES Group will continue to develop our policies, procedures, and practices, and we will continue to invest in our people."
