As an Electrical Installation Engineer, you will carry out a wide range of industrial installations, using a variety of containment structures, within many industry sectors. This includes carrying out fault finding and diagnostics, when required. You will have the ability to read schematics and cable schedules.
This role is permanent full time (38 hours p/w) with potential for overtime, and 29 days holiday per year, inclusive of 8 statutory holidays.

The successful applicant is expected to be time-served in an Electrical/Engineering discipline, and/or qualified to a minimum of an NVQ L3 Diploma in an Electrical/Engineering discipline. However, skilled and competent 3rd and 4th year Apprentices will be considered for this role.
The successful applicant must have a proven background and range of experience in installation works, as well as experience working with a variety of containment structures. It is essential that applicants are self-motivated and fully flexible.
Must have full driving license and ability to travel to customer sites.
Knowledge and understanding of PLC and VSD systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and electrical drawing packages (AutoCAD, XElec etc.) and Microsoft Office packages are all desirable.
A minimum of 4 years’ experience in an Electrical Engineering/Industrial Electrician installation role. However, strong applicants with less experience may by considered upon application (e.g. 3rd and 4th year Apprentices).
