As an Inspection and Test Engineer, you will work on electrical installations, carry out fault finding and diagnostics, and carry out inspections and tests
on a range of electrical installations. You will have the ability to read schematics, and will be able to produce inspection and test reports, with
an understanding of the appropriate Regulations and Standards to which GES Group work.
Your role will include organising jobs (and other Engineers/Apprentices assigned to the job) to ensure work is completed on-time, in budget, and to a suitable standard, while complying with all site rules and attending Site Inductions, when necessary.
You will communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and colleagues; including providing good levels of customer service and promoting the company by distributing promotional materials.
This role is permanent full time (38 hours p/w) with potential for overtime.
29 days holiday per year, inclusive of 8 statutory holidays.

The successful applicant is expected to be time-served in an Electrical/Engineering discipline, and/or be qualified to a minimum of an NVQ L3 Diploma in an Engineering/Electrical discipline. The successful applicant must hold C&G 2394 and 2395, or equivalent, e.g. C&G 2391.
The successful applicant will be self-motivated and flexible, with a proven background and range of experience in installation works, as well as experience carrying out inspections and tests on a range of installations.
Must have full driving license and ability to travel to customer sites.
Experience using Microsoft Office packages and Amtech software is desirable.
A minimum of 4 years’ experience in an Electrical Engineering/Industrial Electrician role with Inspection and Test experience. Strong applicants with less experience may by considered upon application.
